Jr. FIRST LEGO League
FIRST organizes technology competitions for elementary school kids, using LEGOs. This branch of FIRST competitions is called Jr. FLL (Jr. FIRST LEGO League.) Code Red Robotics has started 28 Jr. FLL teams in Ithaca, and actively mentors in multiple elementary schools across Ithaca. Under the guidance of the Jr. FLL participants' parents, teachers, and Code Red mentors, students create LEGO creations and presentation boards. In January, teams from across NY State come together and share their creations.
If you're interested in starting a Jr. FLL team at your school, or a FIRST LEGO league team at a local middle school, please contact the Code Red Robotics Community Outreach Coordinator.
