Code Red Robotics Season 2007-2008!Code Red Robotics (Team 639) is a robotics team located in Ithaca, New York. The team participates in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition. The team is composed of students and teachers from Ithaca High School and Cornell University as well as engineers from local companies. Students work together to design, build, and compete with a robot in the FIRST robotics competitions. Engineers, teachers, and other professionals volunteer their time and mentor the students. The past season was very successful for Code Red Robotics. The team competed at two regional events and made it to the elimination rounds both times. Mechanically, our robot was sound except for a break that developed in one of the claw arms. Thank you to everyone who helped out this season, and we are looking forward to seeing you again next season.
